The Further Adventures of The Adventures Of…
Our sincere apologies to all of you who had planned to join us in Austin, Boston and points in-between for TAO’s massive 25th Anniversary Celebration in 2020/21/22. Here’s the latest:
The Adventures Of… spent early 2020 (and much of 2019) immersed in strategic planning for what was to be our busiest year in years, centered around the Official Celebration of TAO’s First 25 Years Together (!).
In fact, on 3/15/20 we were scheduled to announce an epoch-making, year-long series of live shows, parties, festivals, parades, charity events and much more, in and around Austin, Boston (!!) and parts unknown.
That didn’t work out exactly as we’d envisioned. (Oh, and there may be something to that whole Ides of March thing…)
But, after only – what’s it been, 6 or 8 short years? – signs are already beginning to start to hint that things might be on the cusp of looking up eventually. We’re now in talks with surviving venues, bienvenues, parvenues, avenues, venus, mars, etc, and before you know it, we’ll be announcing a series of even-more wonderful events crammed full of brand-new adventures in sound, sight and song. We may even have some new sleeves up our sleeves.
And yes, thanks for asking, our new album has been waiting for so darn long, it’s set to pop, and will be utterly released in conjunction with the impending cavalcade of live events.
